The Oceanside Police Dept. has suspended active searching for resident Angelica Brophy, 44, who went missing July 6, although the investigation remains full active. July 22, OPD Chief Taurino Valdovinos announced the suspension of ground operations. The department coordinated ground and dive search operations at Palomar Mountain State Park from July 9-21. The authorities say there is no current evidence of foul play.u00a0 Brophy is a Kaiser San Marcos emergency room nurse and mother of two.
