Residents of Valley Center and surrounding communities are invited to a special presentation on Tuesday, August 11, 7 p.m. featuring Dr. Frank Vernon of the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Vernon will speak on the High Performance Wireless Research and Education Network (HPWREN)u2014a groundbreaking communications infrastructure that has become essential for wildfire monitoring, emergency response, and scientific research across Southern California.
