Hennie Dijk-Stel is a Dutch garden artist based in the Netherlands known for her creative work related to botanical art and the natural environment. She focuses on themes centered around gardens and organic forms, and draws inspiration from the shapes and colors of nature. Working on paper, panel, or canvas, she expresses that inspiration through various techniques, including pencil, ink, watercolor, oil, and acrylic paint. She does this from her studio in the Frisian village of Aldwâld, where she lives with her husband, Goos, and dog Wopke. For several years, she has been “infected” by the botanical illustration bug—a truly contagious condition!
