Escondido Together and Interfaith Community Services gathered on Thursday, May 7, to participate in the 75th Annual National Day of Prayer.u00a0 The theme for this year was u201cHeartfelt Peace.u201d This annual event brings together members of the community from several different faith backgrounds to pray for the nation and the community. u00a0 The service began with a few introductory statements by the Rev. Meg Decker, a retired priest from Trinity Episcopal Church.
