Diehl Defence and BAE Systems are collaborating to develop joint solutions for maritime defence systems for the German market, as well as other international armed forces. Following a recent memorandum of understanding, the companies intend to integrate Diehl Defence’s 127 mm (5-inch) ammunition family into BAE Systems’ Mk 45 naval gun and explore other opportunities to combine expertise on maritime defence systems.
