Change in weather helps contain Grade Fire

A sudden cooling change, including fog and early dew helped fire crews in their containment of the Grade Fire earlier this week. Hundreds of Cal Fire firefighters battled the Grade Fire just east of Palomar Mountain, over the weekend, and by press time on Tuesday the blaze, was 90% contained. Itu2019s important that they do that quickly, since more hot, fire weather is on the way later this week, says Valley Center Fire Chief Joe Napier.
