Simi Valley Unified approves $255 million budget, shelves November facilities bond
The Simi Valley Unified School District will begin the 2026-27 school year with a balanced budget, but voters will not see a proposed school facilities bond measure on the November ballot after trustees didn’t move forward with it. The districtu2019s Board of Education unanimously approved a $255 million budget for the 2026-27 fiscal year during its June 16 meeting. The u201cplaceholderu201d budget projects about $250 million in revenue and $255 million in expenditures.
