The Deer Springs Fire Protection District Saturday morning will celebrate the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly completed Fire Station 2, Saturday, June 13, 9:30 a.m. -11:30 a.m. Deer Springs Fire District encompasses parts of Valley Center and Escondido. Local dignitaries, community leaders, and elected officials will provide remarks highlighting the accomplishments of the district and the importance of the new facility to the surrounding communities.
