Vertical Aerospace has completed the maiden piloted flight of its latest full-scale prototype aircraft, marking the start of an expanded flight test campaign. Conducted on June 5, 2026, at the company’s UK Flight Test Centre, the flight follows approval from the UK Civil Aviation Authority. The prototype is the final aircraft to join Vertical’s flight test fleet ahead of the company’s Critical Design Review and planned transition to pre-production aircraft assembly.
