French global chemical process technology provider Axens, an IFP Group company, has announced it has signed an agreement with compatriot Air Liquide Group to acquire its Methanol-to-Olefins technology portfolio, including the Lurgi Methanol-to-Propylene (MTP). This addition expands Axens’ sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) portfolio through Axens’ "Jetanol" process chain, offering its customers an end-to-end solution for SAF production through the Methanol-to-Jet (MTJ) pathway.
