Bruce is dead; last-ditch plea to U.S. Supreme Court can’t save dog’s life
Attorneys fighting to save Bruce took their case to the U.S. Supreme Court this morning, asking Justice Elena Kagan for an immediate administrative stay that would prevent Ventura County Animal Services from euthanizing the dog while his federal appeal remains pending. The motion was too late.
