The Valley Center Community Planning Group at Mondayu2019s monthly meeting heard an update on the Countyu2019s Housing Unlocked, which seeks to make it easier to build more homes in the unincorporated areas. Geoffrey Plageman, senior planner with Planning & Development Services and one of his associates, shared the goals of the Countyu2019s housing policy and the implementation of the 6th Cycle Housing Element and Zoning Ordinance. Housing Unlock Outreach has included community and stakeholder meetings last year and earlier this year, of which Mondayu2019s presentation was one.
