Questioning township board decisions The Oxford Leader had two articles in the June 17 edition which concerned me about the Oxford Township board and their responsibilities to township residents. The first article noted the change of the trustees business meeting start time from 6:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Two trustees brought up concerns that residents, trustees and outside consultants would not be able to make it to an earlier meeting time. The earlier start time still passed with no reasoning as to why the change was needed. The second article reported a salary increase for the deputy supervisor.
