The 27th edition of the Rotterdam Glaucoma Symposium will be held on Saturday, April 18th, 2026.  Established in 1997 under the leadership of Prof. Hans Lemij, the symposium has built a legacy of excellence, having welcomed more than 3,600 attendees and 76 distinguished speakers representing 20 countries across 5 continents. It is now recognized as the second-largest annual ophthalmic meeting in the Netherlands, after the national ophthalmological congress. This edition will be especially memorable, as it will also serve as the farewell symposium for Prof. Hans Lemij.  Since 2020, Théa Pharma Netherland has proudly taken on the role of sole organizer and sponsor, continuing its commitment to fostering knowledge exchange. The 2025 symposium attracted more than 140 in‑person attendees.
