The Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA) and the Global CCS Institute (GCCSI) have announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The agreement establishes a framework between the two organisations to advance the development and scale-up of carbon capture and storage (CCS) across the global cement and concrete sector, further recognising the critical importance of CCS in achieving industry and global climate goals.
