DA’s office takes up beating death
The case of the beating death of Escondido man Kerry Sheron, allegedly at the hands of Thomas Caleb Butler, has been passed from the Escondido Police Department to the District Attorneyu2019s Office. It still has not been officially determined whether the attack was politically motivated. According to the Escondido Police Department, once charges were filed, all inquiries were handled by the DA.
