FLUSHING u2013 Flushing City Parks and Recreation Committee announced on social media that due to the continued hazardous air quality, the farmers market at Riverview Park has been cancelled for Saturday, July 18. u201cWe are truly disappointed to cancel this weekend’s market; however the health of the community has always been top priority and we encourage everyone to keep safe this weekend,u201d the post said. The market is expected to be open on Saturday, July 25. The market will be followed by Movies in the Park.
