In Ave Maria, a recent tragedy is being turned into something inspirational. Xavier Randolph was planning to attend Ave Maria University (AMU), but on July 8 he passed away in a drowning accident. He is survived by his parents, Jeff and Amy Randolph, and six siblings. At eighteen, he was a passionate runner. Now, Xavieru2019s younger sister runs track, and his father has taken up running to carry forward Xavieru2019s spirit. Xavieru2019s father, Jeff, has been involved with AMU since its inception.
