Janis Beth Capps Banner, 88, was born April 7, 1938, in Mason, Texas, and passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.B. Capps and Dorothy Saunders Capps; her husband, Macon Banner; and her daughter, Jessica Blair Jones Wright. Raised on a ranch near Batesville, Texas, Janis graduated from Uvalde High School and earned a bacheloru2019s degree in education from Abilene Christian University. A devoted Christian and longtime member of Riverside Church of Christ in Kerrville, she dedicated her life to faith, family, and service.
