In Tuscany, oil production traditionally accompanies wine production on each farm: this has been the case at Castello di Gabbiano for centuries. A small production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which today boasts Protected Designation of Origin status, produced from the olives of different varieties, about 2000 trees in the estate’s 9 hectares of olive groves, harvested and immediately pressed at the estate mill.
