FAUZIA is a multidisciplinary artist working in live, recorded music and audio-visual installations. Her work challenges the arbitrary division of genre through an extensive range of musical expression. A composer, DJ, producer & vocalist, she is a singular figure in contemporary electronic music. First breaking out as a DJ via NTS Radio, her show was inspired by footwork and jungle – 8 years later her show has evolved guiding listeners through the multiplicity of her influences and tastes. Alongside her radio show, she has contributed mixes for BBC Radio 1, Radio 6, The Lot Radio and Rinse FM. As a DJ she played in clubs across the globe with appearances at Unsound Festival (Krakow), Nowadays (New York), Berghain (Berlin) & De School (Amsterdam). <br> Through the pandemic she self-released a series of attention-garnering projects – ‘Fragments, are you hoping for a miracle?’ and 'flashes in time’. The projects received glowing press from Resident Advisor, Crack Magazine, Pitchfork, The Wire and more. Her collaborative track with Kelela was featured in [‘The Top Tracks of 2020’](https://crackmagazine.net/article/feature-lists/the-top-25-tracks-of-the-year/#number25) via Crack Magazine who said ‘ her ability to access the softer parts of our emotional palette with equal intuition verges on the supernatural’.  Her production mix for DISCWOMAN was featured in Resident Advisor’s [‘2020’s Best Mixes’](https://ra.co/features/3789), while ‘flashes in time’ was included in Pitchfork’s [‘The Best Electronic Music of 2021’](https://pitchfork.com/features/lists-and-guides/best-electronic-music-2021/).
