Many are blends that include only a fraction of genuine Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee; others confuse buyers with lower-grade “Jamaica Supreme” beans.Rest assured, Difference Coffee sources its Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee from St. Cloud's Estate, a legendary coffee producer. 100% genuine Blue Mountain coffee rated as Grade 1 (meaning the biggest and best beans available at size 17) by the Jamaican Coffee Board is very good quality, but not quite good enough for us. We insisted on beans of size 19 and higher, with zero defects – and for these to be exclusive to us. The estate provides Difference Coffee with less than 15 barrels a year. For us, quality is far more important than quantity.
