The falling line from two fallen AT&T poles fell on a Valley Center Municipal Water District truck Friday afternoon on Betsworth Road in Valley Center. The driver was unhurt. The incident occurred 5:35 p.m. The two poles completely snapped.u00a0 According to VCMWD Gen. Mgr. Lindsay Leahy: u201cLooks like the top half of the telephone pole snapped and our operator happened to be driving on the road.u00a0 An unfortunate situation but we are relieved that our operator was unharmed.u201d Traffic was shut to both sides of the road.
