LINCOLNTON u2013 Adam Patton has been named the veteran services director for Lincoln County effective June 30. Patton has been serving the community since January of 2024, when he was hired as the veteran services officer for Lincoln County. His career in the armed forces began when he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps shortly after graduating from West Lincoln High School in June of 2007. During his military service, Patton was selected for prestigious security assignments at Marine Barracks Washington, 8th & I, where he served from April 2008 to August 2009, providing security at Marine Corps Headquarters.
