MOORESVILLE u2013u00a0Members of the Eastern Heights Community Watch and Mooresvilleu2019s Juneteenth committee joined town officials and community residents June 13 to continue a local tradition celebrating freedom while also marking the completion of a comprehensive park upgrade. The townu2019s $3.2-million enhancement of Eastern Heights Park (previously known as Willow Valley Park) was completed just in time for the townu2019s annual Juneteenth festival commemorating the anniversary of the end of slavery in this country.
